Welcome to www.AmericanGrapplingLeague.com. The AGL website (“Site”) is operated by American Grappling League LLC (“AGL”). Use of the Site and participation in AGL events is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). By accessing this Site or registering for any AGL event, you agree to these Terms without modification. Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records.

Use of the Site
This Site provides event information, registration tools, rules, results, and other related services. AGL may also provide access to athlete applications, media submissions, merchandise, or third-party services.

Privacy
Your use of the Site is subject to AGL’s Privacy Policy. Please review our policy to understand how we collect and use personal information.

Electronic Communications
By using this Site or communicating with AGL via email, you consent to receive electronic communications and agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement for written communication.

Accounts and Access
If you create an account on this Site or submit data through registration platforms (e.g., Jotform, Smoothcomp, Eventbrite), you are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your credentials. You agree to notify AGL immediately of any unauthorized use. AGL may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including suspected misuse.

Eligibility
Participation in AGL events is limited to adults age 18 and older. By registering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and understand the rules of competition, conduct, and liability.

Intellectual Property
All Site content—including logos, graphics, media, text, and layout—is the intellectual property of AGL or its content providers. You may not copy, distribute, modify, publish, or reproduce any content without written permission. The AGL name and Legacy Trophy system are protected branding.

Third-Party Services
AGL may use third-party services to manage registration, payment, or communication. You acknowledge and accept the terms and risks associated with any such integrations.

Unlawful or Prohibited Use
You may not use this Site in any way that could damage or disable its functionality or interfere with another user’s experience. You agree not to upload, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or in violation of any local or international laws.

Refund Policy
All payments made to AGL are final and non-refundable unless stated in writing by AGL. Refund requests must be submitted via email and are subject to approval. If approved, they may be returned minus processing fees or offered as credit toward a future event. No refunds are granted for no-shows, late withdrawals, or disqualifications due to conduct or rule violations.

Disqualification and Conduct
AGL reserves the right to disqualify any competitor or deny access to any user for reasons including, but not limited to: unsportsmanlike behavior, falsification of information, rule violations, or failure to comply with event staff or referee instructions. Disqualification does not entitle the participant to any refund or credit.

Limitation of Liability
AGL is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in its events or use of its website. Competitors engage at their own risk and must sign a waiver acknowledging the inherent dangers of martial arts competition. In no event shall AGL be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AGL, its directors, staff, sponsors, venue partners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or legal actions arising from your participation in AGL events or use of this Site.

Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final, and judgment may be entered in any court with proper jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver
All claims must be brought on an individual basis. You agree not to participate in any class action or collective lawsuit against AGL.

Termination and Access Restriction
AGL may terminate your access to the Site or deny event participation at its discretion and without notice.

Modifications to Terms
AGL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or participation in events after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes shall be resolved under California jurisdiction.
